enjoyable strolls to parks and nearby attractions
I had a lovely experience thanks to the friendly staff who made my stay pleasant and the restaurant served up a delicious dinner that I really enjoyed, perfect for winding down after a day of exploring neighborhoods and landmarks like Cassiobury Park and Leavesden Country Park which are both just a short walk away, minor improvement could be made with the breakfast hours being a bit late, but overall, I really cherished my time here.

I had a pleasant stay at King'S Lodge. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, providing assistance throughout my visit. The Tudor-style room was charming and cozy, perfectly reflecting the character of the historic building. the on-site dining offered home-cooked meals that were both delicious and generous in portion. The pub garden was a lovely spot to unwind after a busy day.
Some areas could benefit from maintenance.

It was just an appropriate option for a weekend respite in Kings Langley with good value for cost. The breakfast was lovely, especially the hunter's mega, which was a highlight of our stay. Definitely try to get there early for breakfast to avoid the rush.

Charming beer garden, historical building, unique period features
Bathroom needed immediate attention for plumbing issues!!! The noise from the pub and nearby train tracks made sleep difficult. Cleanliness must be improved, as dust and cobwebs were prevalent throughout the room!!!

The location is fantastic, just a short drive from Warner Bros Studios. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, really made us feel at home. The breakfast, especially the cooked options, was delicious and served hot. the room needed some updates. The carpet could use replacing, and there was a noticeable hole in the bathroom floor. No headboards on the beds made it feel a bit tired. The towels were surprisingly small too. Despite these drawbacks, the old pub downstairs had a quirky charm, and the bed was comfortable enough for one night. Loved the large TV in the room, but it could definitely benefit from some TLC overall.

Family with kids not so great
The staff were really helpful and friendly always willing to assist my family when we arrived late. The food we had for dinner was home-cooked and didn’t disappoint.
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive but for what we got it was tolerable.

Just a solid selection for getting around Kings Langley with incredible value for money. The bed was comfy and clean linens were a relief. Bring your own coffee though, as the hotel brew is not great.

location to warner bros was excellent, staff were really nice and helped us a lot, breakfast was delicious, comfy beds and a huge tv in the room. pub downstairs was old and quirky, had a lot of character.
the stairs are super steep and nothing was ready when we got there, also the milk in the room was mouldy and that was kinda gross.
